About Liberty

Discovering Eastern Medicine transformed my life, and I’ve spent the following seven years immersed in holistic practices, including meditation, yoga, Nei Gong, acupuncture, and Daoist medicine. I hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, with additional specialist training in paediatric acupuncture and classical Daoist medicine. I established two clinics in Bristol and Portishead before relocating to the beautiful New Forest.

Living on a remote island in Asia surrounded by reefs scarred by decades of dynamite fishing, I believed my purpose was to protect nature. Pursuing marine biology, I soon uncovered a deeper issue: the disconnection many people have from themselves.

This realisation led me to reflect inward and ask, Does our collective disregard for the environment reflect our disconnection from the true nature of our human existence? And, If we are truly content and connected with who we are, wouldn’t our actions naturally be orientated towards the well-being of the planet too?

This insight inspired my journey into the healing arts—a path rooted in the harmony of humanity and the Earth. At Liberty Rose Acupuncture, I integrate this ethos into my practice, choosing equipment with reduced plastic packaging and needles manufactured using eco-friendly sterilisation methods. By promoting healing within individuals, I hope to contribute to a healthier, more connected world for all.

“I am not fighting to protect nature; I am nature protecting itself.”
